Brandon Munro

Brandon is a quantitative economist and lawyer with 20 years experience as a corporate lawyer and resources executive, including serving as Bannerman’s General Manager between 2009-2011, based in Namibia.  Before joining Bannerman as CEO/Managing Director, Brandon was Managing Director of ASX-listed Kunene Resources Ltd, which was focused on base metals exploration in Namibia.

Brandon lived in Namibia for over five years between 2009-2015, where he also served as Governance Advisor to the Namibian Uranium Association and Strategic Advisor – Mining Charter to the Namibian Chamber of Mines.

Brandon’s voluntary roles include as Trustee of Save the Rhino Trust Namibia, a high profile Namibian NGO, and Board member of the Murdoch University Art Collection.  He is also a non-executive director of ASX-listed technology company Novatti Group Ltd.


Werner Ewald

Werner has more than 25 years experience in the diamond, coal and uranium mining industries. Prior to joining Bannerman Resources, Werner was Mine Manager at Rössing Uranium Mine in Namibia. During 2001 and 2003 he worked at the Tarong Coal Mine in Queensland, Australia as Business Improvement Manager.

Werner has worked in the diamond industry at Namdeb and in the underground diamonds mines in South Africa.


Twapewa Kadhikwa

Non-Executive Director – Namibia

Twapewa is a successful Namibian businesswoman and a role model for young entrepreneurs.  In addition to her impressive business track record, Twapewa brings to the Company a highly respected passion for SME development.  Her industry profile and insights will be invaluable in guiding the development of the Etango uranium project.

Twapewa is a Non-Executive Director of the Company’s 95% subsidiary, Bannerman Mining Resources (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd


Robert Dalton

Financial Controller and Company Secretary

Robert has more than 15 years of experience in auditing, accounting and secretarial roles. He commenced his career at an international accounting firm and has had significant exposure to the resources sector.

His most recent appointment was that of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Tangiers Petroleum Ltd.


John Turney

Project Advisor – Etango

John has more than 35 years experience in the resources industry. John has worked for mining and engineering companies in Australia and North America. While at Homestake Mining Company and Barrick Gold Corporation, he worked in mining and milling operations and project development in the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and Africa.

Prior to joining Bannerman, John was General Manager Leaching at Bateman Engineering, based in Australia. In the past ten years, Mr Turney led the successful development of the Cowal gold project in Australia and the Tulawaka gold project in Tanzania, as well as other development and capital project roles for both Homestake and Barrick.
